Ministries
Alongside ministering to the Lord and to each other, we believe in the power of several ministry functions here at our church home. Ministry looks like several different things. Inspired by His word, church leadership, and each other, we join together with the opportunity to serve God and his church. This is how we equip God's people, the next generation, for His work in the world.

Public Relations Team
The Public Relations "PR team" is a branch of our General Media Team that manages all of the church's social media accounts and ensures that important information and content from events/weekly services are shared with the public.
From the Instagram and Facebook posts, to the worship and sermon videos on youtube, to the Sunday service livestreams– our creative PR team members work behind the scenes to capture ROLF family's memories, to tell our people's stories through pictures, videos, and graphics, and ultimately to share His Word.

P.A.R.T.Y. Culture (Youth)
We're a group of students with one mission―to "pray & reach the youth."
There's no doubt that God has plans for the young ones. Every week, our students and youth-aged adolescents gather at church during Sunday service in the multi-purpose room.

The Gathering (Young Adults)
The Gathering is a collective between River of Life Fellowship and UTRGV, a young adults campus organization open to all young adults navigating through their twenties to recognize their identity in Jesus because extraordinary change happens when we walk in divine purpose. We meet every Wednesday night for worship, prayer, and biblical conversations about kingdom lifestyles.
The meeting room location and time may vary. For general updates and info, click below:

Media Team
The general media team is a diverse ministry that encompasses the visual, auditory, and technical aspects of church gatherings. Despite essentially remaining behind-the-scenes, these skilled individuals play significant roles with operating projector visuals (song lyrics, powerpoints, graphics), controlling sound set-ups, enhancing light displays, facilitating livestream events, or even bringing God's church to social media.
As mentioned, there are several teams that collaborate every week, ranging from sound directors, projector operators, livestream technicians, public relations, and more.
Right now, we are currently looking for new members who can join us in operating our projector for Sunday services and special events. Please click below to sign-up and tell us more about yourself!

River of Life Fellowship - Philippines
We long for God's transforming presence to reach every nation.
River of Life Fellowship Philippines was established in 2013, mainly in response to the catastrophic, super-typhoon "Haiyan" that struck the Philippines on November that same year. Thousands of people, including young children, were suddenly thrown into homelessness and poverty―but nonetheless, God had greater plans.
While attending River of Life Fellowship in South Texas, church leaders Tess & Boboy Yongson felt called to return to the city of Leyte, Philippines and start a children's ministry. At the heart of a disaster-struck region, their mission aimed to provide relief (food, clothing, education) while facilitating encounters with Jesus.
A city of calamity soon transformed into a beacon of hope. More children & families were introduced to God. Eventually, the children's ministry grew into a church, and a building was officially established a few years after. All for God's glory!
